Men's Advance (because Men don't retreat)
Come join our men as we head deep into the Cascade mountains, located 20 or so miles west of Yakima on U.S. Highway 12.
We will be offering a multitude of outdoor adventure actives such as hiking, mountain biking, fishing, 4x4ing (overlanding/rock crawling), canoeing, dirt biking (dual sport ride also), paintball (extra cost gear provided), pistol, rifle, even skeet shooting! Most of these are BYOG (Bring Your Own Gear).
Camp starts on the evening of Friday, September 27th (dinner provided on this day) and ends Sunday, September 29th in the morning after brunch. Feel free to come over early and/or stay late after the retreat to get some more time in the mountains - hiking, dirt biking, mountain biking, fishing, or just enjoying God's creation.
Our speaker is Pastor Nate Hettinga. He has been married to his childhood sweetheart, Amy, for 33 years and they have 6 children (the youngest 2 adopted from Korea) and 3 grandkids. Nate planted Cascade Church in Monroe, WA in 1997 and led through many seasons of growth over 23 years. In January, 2020, Nate became the District Executive Minister for Converge Northwest — overseeing over 100 churches in 5 Northwest states. Nate is passionate about multiplying disciples, leaders and churches. In his free time, Nate enjoys gardening, bee-keeping, archery hunting and hanging out with family and friends.
